Board Governance Project for Women
Each Fall, the United Way Volunteer Center accepts applications for the Board Governance Project for Women - to empower women to become more effective board members and to share their talents with community boards. The program is an opportunity to learn from individuals with proven board skills and experience. The program begins in February and runs for 8 consecutive weeks. Harris Beach LLP, and DKS, Certified Public Accountants are proud sponsors of the program.
The Online Donation Program
The Online Donation Program brokers donations of products from individuals and companies to nonprofits. This program has generated millions of dollars worth of product donations to over 120 community organizations. To donate, contact us at 716-887-2632.
Volunteer Administrators of Western New York
Are you responsible for managing volunteers? The Volunteer Administrators of Western New York (VAWNY) is an association established to promote the exchange and dissemination of information concerning the use of volunteer services; encourage growth, development and cooperation among volunteer service programs; and explore new trends and areas of service.
